Turkey steak with ginger

For an extravagant change, try the ginger turkey steak.

This creation is particularly fresh and has a slight spiciness due to Ben's ginger concentrate.

Ingredients (for 4 servings):

  • 2 tablespoons organic ginger concentrate from Ben's Ginger
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 turkey medallions
  • 1 pointed cabbage (approx. 500g)
  • 150g cherry tomatoes
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • salt, pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley

This is how it`s done:

Mix Ben's Ginger with garlic, pepper and soy sauce. Rub turkey medallions with the mixture and marinate in the refrigerator for half an hour. Clean pointed cabbage, cut into quarters, remove the hard stalk. Cut the cabbage into strips about 2 cm wide. Wash and dry cherry tomatoes.

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick frying pan. Remove the meat from the marinade, pat dry and reserve the marinade. Sear meat on both sides for 1-2 minutes and place in a baking dish.

Cook in the preheated oven at 180 degrees (convection oven 160 degrees) on the second rack from the bottom for 12 - 17 minutes. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in the pan. Stir-fry the pointed cabbage in it for 3 - 4 minutes. Add marinade and tomatoes to pointed cabbage and bring to a boil.

Season with salt and pepper and serve with the meat and parsley.
